Serving Teams

Join a SERVING TEAM if you...

LOVE:
rolling up your sleeves and getting to work.

HATE:
meetings.

  • Serving Teams are pools of volunteers trained and equipped to fill a particular volunteer role at MCC. They do everything from decorating the sanctuary, to greeting visitors, to spreading mulch on the church grounds. The best part? No meetings.

Each serving team functions differently. Some respond to email requests as needed, others are scheduled regularly by a volunteer coordinator. But they all are given the tools and information they need to get the job done.

  • In the future, you’ll be able to join Serving Teams through Realm.

For now, click here and fill out this form to join a Serving Team.

Ministry Teams

Join a MINISTRY TEAM if you...

LOVE:
working collaboratively,
dreaming up new ways of doing things,
problem solving.

Don’t mind:
an occasional meeting,
taking responsibility for a program or event.

  • Ministry Teams work together to oversee a particular ministry at MCC. They plan events, dream up and carry out programs, maintain relationships with our mission partners… and so much more!

Some Ministry Teams are more involved than others. Some (like the Middleton Pride Ministry Team) gather to plan just one event a year, others (like the Generosity Ministry Team) will meet monthly to coordinate a bigger program.

Ministry Coordinators

Consider applying for MINISTRY COORDINATOR position if you...

LOVE:
seeing projects through from start to finish,
taking on a position of responsibility,
want to equip other people to grow in their faith and service.

  • Ministry Coordinators play a special role overseeing a particular narrow area of ministry, much like our staff members do. They take ownership of their ministry area, and often lead a team that trains, recruits, and schedules volunteers on Serving Teams.

Board Committees

Express interest in a BOARD COMMITTEE if you…

Board committees are appointed by the Board of Directors on an annual basis. While there are some standing committees, the Board may create committees as needed.
