Employment at MCC
Purpose:
The Communications Specialist is responsible for effectively communicating the MCC story to members, stakeholders, and the wider community. In cooperation with the staff and ministry leaders, they will create a comprehensive communications plan for the congregation. They are responsible for creating the print and digital media that aims to reach several target audiences: current MCC members, visitors, and the wider community. They manage MCC’s online presence including the website and social media.

This is a 20 hour/week position with the flexibility of being in-person, remote, or a combination. The Communications Specialist is expected to attend weekly staff meetings on Monday mornings and occasional evening meetings (approximately once or twice a month). Remote access to meetings is available.
