Andra Moran in Concert

Independent artist Andra Moran will perform at 7:00 pm at Middleton Community United Church of Christ. Moran's music spans genres from country to folk, with an honest and searching spirituality.
Moran appeals to both young and old alike. She has a reputation as a popular entertainer among youth audiences who know Moran's songs by heart from her frequent appearances before groups.
Her warm voice wraps around her gently-crafted tunes. From heartache to hope, Moran's songs acknowledge life's inevitable disappointments -- and celebrate the resilience of the heart.
Moran calls her latest album Listening a departure, and not just musically: while her first two records If Not For This (with Josh Elson) and 2003's acoustic Someday Sessions were overtly Christian, Listening explores issues Moran feels aren't often addressed in Christian music.
A suggested donation of $5 per person will be collected at the door.

True North in Concert

Hailing from south/central Wisconsin, True North is an all acoustic gospel music group. Featuring mandolin, guitar, upright bass, violin, banjo, penny whistle, and occasionally flute and cello, they create a unique and appealing variety of music ranging from traditional bluegrass, tight a cappella harmonies, to more contemporary gospel music.
A freewill offering will be collected to support the music ministry of True North.
